The Smoothing Calender unit applies pressure and heat to coated fabric to smooth the surface, calibrate thickness and — if wanted — impart an embossed pattern. A horizontal build works with a rubber-covered back roll, chrome smoothing and take-off rolls and a water-cooled output cylinder.

Pressure, roll sizes and the other technical requirements are met according to the requirements of the line the unit will run on; water cooling preserves surface quality. Independently quotable; installed with a new line or added to your existing one.
