Lacquering is the finishing process that applies a thin lacquer layer to the surface of PVC-coated fabric. Gloss, surface protection and handle are set by this layer: the face can be finished glossy or matt, holds less dirt and cleans easily, and lasts longer against UV and weathering. Lacquered PVC-coated fabric is the choice for products that spend years outdoors, such as truck and lorry tarpaulins, awnings, tents and tensile membrane roofs.
